Social responsibility in our supply chain

We evaluate our suppliers on their responsibility towards their employees. 37% of our raw materials used in 2020 came from suppliers with a certified occupational safety and health management system (e.g. ISO 45001). We intend to further increase this share in the future.

Staff suggestions for improvement / Employee suggestion scheme

All members of our TENOWO team are welcome to get involved in the Company with their improvement suggestions. Improvements apply to all areas, from occupational safety to sustainability to greater cohesion, so that an overall improvement of TENOWO is achieved on a continuous basis. Suggestions for improvement that are subsequently implemented are rewarded – financially and, if desired, with mention of the creative minds behind the fresh ideas.

In 2019, 128 proposals were submitted and 49 of them were implemented.
In 2020, 24 proposals were submitted and 6 of them were implemented.

Operational Integration Management (OIM)

Disabilities or prolonged illnesses can certainly throw a person off track. Our OIM helps our employees return to work after a long absence and can tailor work conditions and surroundings to their personal needs.

In 2020, 60 team members could be supported in their re-entry.

The S.W.I.M. program

The S.W.I.M. program (Schau Was Ich Mache [Look at What I Can Do]) gives every team member an opportunity to look beyond their own horizons and work with a partner in a different department to familiarize themselves with one another’s work. The offer is valid throughout the Company and across locations.

Company run

At the last Frankenpost company run, our employees were represented with a colourful team with members from production and administration at Hoftex Group AG, NEUTEX, TENOWO and HOFTEX. At the time, the motto for the running team of the entire HOFTEX GROUP was ‘TEXDREAM TEAM in motion’.

Family Day for employees and their family members

In splendid weather conditions, in July 2019 we were able to hold the 3rd TENOWO Family Day in Hof. With over 600 guests, the day was a complete success with games, fun and delicious food. This tremendous party was made possible thanks to the dedicated commitment of a great many helpful employees.

New trainees in 2022

A sustainable world needs well-trained young people and adults. In an effort to promote the further development of society, we provide training – in the fields of purchasing, computer science, mechatronics, textile production and textile laboratory work.

In 2019, we welcomed 9 new trainees. At the same time, 3 trainees were able to successfully complete their training.

In 2020, we welcomed 11 new trainees. At the same time, 5 trainees were able to successfully complete their training.

In 2021, we welcomed 14 new trainees. At the same time, 10 trainees were able to successfully complete their training.

In 2022, we welcomed 9 new trainees. At the same time, 6 trainees were able to successfully complete their training.

HOFTEXPLOSION

At the last Hoftexplosion, held for two days and three nights, the former warehouse of the spinning mill on the Schützenstrasse provided the venue for painting, admiring, amazement, dancing and celebrating. It was a colourful event that gave numerous artists an opportunity to showcase their works. A music program, with performances by the Youth Group from Theater Hof, graffiti art, and readings as well as exhibitions by a variety of young artists made for exceptional, entertaining, loud and amusing evenings.
