Our sense of sustainability

To us, sustainability means acting responsibly.
As a part of the biosphere, we share a common responsibility. That is why, together with our partners, we are committed both to protecting the planet and to advance the development of society. This is always done taking social, economic and ecological factors into account.

This is how we intend to leave a planet behind that will be both livable and loveable for generations to come.

TENOWO’s sustainable and innovative nonwoven solutions

Because they are typically not directly visible, the importance of nonwovens is often underappreciated. We will show you a few examples of our nonwoven applications that you will also encounter in everyday life.
In the following video, our Sustainability Coordinator presents solutions that TENOWO GmbH has already successfully achieved.

Our principles of action

Ideals, goals, philosophies or principles – discussions of the topic of sustainability can often turn fuzzy and abstract. What a company ultimately stands for, and the things it specifically does to act in truly sustainable ways, are often difficult for outsiders to grasp.

Transparency is important to us. That is why we have articulated our goals in very concrete terms in an effort to achieve truly sustainable action. With this in mind, we divide our measures into three sub-areas: People, Planet and Partnership.

We are awarded by ecovadis

EcoVadis provides a solution for capturing sustainability in global supply chains.

With innovative technology and sustainability expertise, EcoVadis seeks to support companies to implement sustainable measures.

A team of international sustainability experts analyzes and reviews company data (through various evidence, 360° Findings, etc.) to produce reliable assessments.

In doing so, the industry, size and geographic location of each company is taken into account.

Green claims – Our statement on greenwashing

We are proud of our products which support your path to sustainability and will gladly tell you what is great about them. However, we do not want to pretend that they are something that they are not. This is why we refuse to engage in greenwashing - honesty counts.

For that reason, we follow the EDANA Environmental Claim Guidelines: we support any green claims with sound, appropriate scientific information. For further information or your feedback, please kindly contact us.
