TENOWO developed new needle-punched PET nonwovens for use in resin absorption and venting applications in the production of composite components. Breather nonwovens take up excess resin and distribute an applied vacuum uniformly over the entire surface of the mould.
The PET nonwovens are flexible and drapable, so they can be adapted optimally to the desired shape. They contain no additional binder, which ensures a continuous flow of air.
