TENOWO developed new needle-punched PET nonwovens for use in resin absorption and venting applications in the production of composite components. Breather nonwovens take up excess resin and distribute an applied vacuum uniformly over the entire surface of the mold.
The PET nonwoven fabric is flexible and therefore conforms perfectly to the desired shape. It contains no additional binder, which ensures a continuous airflow.
